Inspection

Under Irish health and safety law, all scaffolding must be inspected by a competent person before first use and at regular intervals thereafter. 3GPN provides a comprehensive scaffold inspection service to contractors and developers across Dublin and Leinster.

Every inspection is carried out by a qualified, experienced inspector and documented in a full written report, delivered to site management on the same day.

How quickly can you mobilise on a new contract?
For standard residential and commercial contracts we can typically mobilise within 5 to 10 working days of contract award, subject to programme requirements and current workload. Call us to discuss lead times for your specific project — we’ll give you a straight answer.
What compliance documents do you provide?
We provide a full compliance pack on every contract: CSCS cards for all operatives, Safe Pass certificates, Employers Liability and Public Liability insurance certificates, method statement, and risk assessment. Everything is prepared before we arrive on site. No chasing required.
Do you work on phased residential developments?
Yes — this is our core business. We have 20+ years of experience on phased residential developments, from 10-unit schemes to 400+ house developments. We understand plot release schedules and programme accordingly. Our erect-and-dismantle sequence is designed around your release dates.
What is your insurance cover?
We carry €13,000,000 Employers Liability and €6,500,000 Public Liability insurance through Arachas/Thomond, valid January 2026 to January 2027. Certificates are available on request for tender submissions, procurement packs, or site safety files.
Can you provide scaffold design for complex structures?
Yes. For non-standard configurations — bridging solutions, heavy loading bays, complex geometry — we work with NODE Group structural engineers to produce a full design package including 3D models, structural calculations, a Category II independent check certificate, and an HSA Temporary Works Certificate.
How do you handle variations on site?
All variations are agreed in writing with the main contractor before work proceeds. We provide a clear written variation notice with the scope and cost, and request written approval before commencing. No surprises on the final invoice.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Tallaght, Dublin 24 and cover the full Dublin and Leinster region. This includes Dublin City, South Dublin, North Dublin, West Dublin, Co. Wicklow, Co. Kildare, Co. Meath, and Co. Louth. For projects further afield in Leinster, contact us directly and we’ll assess on a project-by-project basis.
Do you provide scaffold inspections for third-party scaffold?
Yes. If you have scaffold erected by another contractor and require an independent inspection — pre-use, periodic, or post-modification — our qualified inspectors can attend site and produce a full written inspection report on the same day.
What are your payment terms?
Standard payment terms are 30 days from invoice date. We invoice monthly on active contracts. For new clients, we may request a deposit on the first contract. All terms are agreed in writing before work commences.
